ABSTRACT:
This 19 page paper looks at three airlines--Singapore International Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Garuda Indonesian Airlines--and compares and contrasts them. Also discussed are policy issues in the region that affect the industry. Specific marketing techniques are evaluated in respect to each airline. Why some of the airlines are more successful are explored in terms of policy issues and marketing. An addendum provides a discussion on how the paper was completed. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
